Financial year-end results for BrightBridge

Financial year-end success and significant growth for BrightBridge amidst the pandemic

22 October 2021 – We’ve been celebrating the results of our last financial year, which revealed 12.4 per cent growth. With the hard work of our 35-person team, we were appointed by 26 new customers from the private, public and third sectors, as well as being awarded three major new upgrade projects by existing customers.

Not only was the business landscape uncertain for BrightBridge, our customers and the rest of the UK in March 2020, but prior to the country’s first lockdown, we committed to hiring a new team of people from an established Microsoft practice. We pressed on with that expansion and now deliver the best-in-class, cloud business solution – Microsoft Dynamics 365 – in addition to Oracle NetSuite and Sage software offerings.

An overnight change to the work environment

With our own cloud solutions already in place, our team was able to seamlessly transition to working from home. The success during our last FY is down to the outstanding work of our team, who showed commitment to standards and customer challenges amidst their own.

Our team’s headcount has risen from 22 at the start of 2020 to 35 as of today, with the latest three members of staff joining during September and October.

Our Chairman, Peter Lloyd, commented:

“In what could have been challenging times, we were confident in our team and strategic forecasting, and I’m pleased to say our boldness paid off. All our people stepped up to the challenge, even though they were working from home, and showed us true commitment and resilience – I must thank them for that. Together we pledged to come out of the other side of the pandemic in an even stronger position, and almost twelve and a half per cent growth and twenty-six new customers is a success we can all be proud of.”

Ian Robertson, our Sales and Marketing Director, added:

“Our team has worked very hard to win new customers as well as continuing to deliver the highest quality of support to existing clients, and the financial year end results reflect this. The new Microsoft team’s expertise and experience has won us a number of delivery and support contracts – with councils, charities and membership organisations – and we’re hoping to have taken on even more staff by the end of the year.”

Looking to the future supporting more businesses

Over and above the new cloud business solution projects, we’ve also witnessed significant growth in enquiries from existing NetSuite and Microsoft users requiring system optimisations. We always welcome conversations with businesses who want to move away from an in-house model or aren’t satisfied with their current software support partner.

Onwards and upwards for Team BrightBridge!
