Meet Charlie Neale
Today marks the start of National Careers Week 2023 which aims to raise awareness of all the wonderful roles there are out there for young people, with careers guidance and free resources. Last year we spoke a number of our team about their roles and career paths and because quite a few new people have joined our ever growing business in the last few months, we pinned a few of them down for a chat. We don’t just think careers week is for young people though, as a change of career can be as good as a rest (as they say?!). As you’ll find out from some of our employee stories, transferrable skills can be the key to finding your perfect career.
We were delighted that Charlie Neale, our Account Manager, with a crossover into sales within his role, was happy to be filmed – welcome to BrightBridge’s very first video blog!
Charlie’s advice for anyone looking to start a career in our industry? He said “I wouldn’t rush into anything – take some time to analyse what you want from a career, because a job and a career are very different. Whether that be high financial reward, flexibility or a sense of fulfilment, find a role that makes you happy every day. For my type of job you have to be driven, very customer focused and not take anything personally. In any job, nobody is going to do it for you, you’ve got to intrinsically motivate yourself every day and have a can-do attitude.”
Now hit the play button to watch him talk about his career journey and his day-to-day and a BrightBridge Account Manager…
